Gloria Dei Center at the Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart

Please drop-off and pick-up your child(ren) directly to/from the Gloria Dei Center

• PLEASE have your child(ren) eat lunch PRIOR to coming to the retreat.
• 12:30pm: Drop-Off your child(ren) directly to the Gloria Dei Center (see address above) at the Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart.
• 4:45pm: Families and Sponsors are welcome to join the group for Mass at the Gloria Dei Center. Mass will begin promptly at 5pm.
• 6:00pm: Pick-up your child(ren) at the Gloria Dei Center by 6pm. (If you are unable to join us for Mass, the retreat concludes with Mass)

Students are welcome to bring:

• Bible
• Reusable Water Bottle
• Cell phones/Electronics will be collected

Dress Code

We have had several families reach out to ask about the dress code for the retreat. Students are welcome to wear a comfortable outfit that meets the dress code of Religious Education and School of St. Mary (Casual Day), uniforms do not need to be worn. During the retreat our candidates will play games, sit on the floor for talks, be invited to pray in various spaces of the retreat center, and will only be allowed to go outside for fresh air (during break) if they have jackets. Please note that we will end the retreat with Mass and clothing should be appropriate for Mass. We encourage your child(ren) to dress in layers, it will be a cold day!

Specific items of apparel NOT allowed:

• Boys - may not wear low-rider pants with exposed shorts, hats or hoods while indoors. 
• Girls - short shorts/skirts, camis, tops that are strapless or that expose cleavage or bare midriffs.
