Welcome to the School of St. Mary (SOSM)!

The School of St. Mary offers a stimulating environment to nurture children's intellect, spirit, and social development from preschool through 8th grade.  We partner with families to help children develop into contributing community members with a conscience and empathy for others.  Time and again, families select and remain at SOSM to raise their children in a supportive village.

With the challenges of the state-mandated, shelter-in-place restrictions during the last quarter of the 2019/2020 school year, our teachers and staff designed and implemented curriculum on various platforms to meet the needs of their students.  We are proud that we rose to the occasion and exceeded expectations in inspiring families to work together on behalf of our students to continue learning beyond the physical boundaries of the classroom.  Since the fall of 2020, the School of St. Mary has been operating full-time in person under the guidelines issued by the Office of Catholic Schools.

For over 100 years, across many generations, devoted religious and lay teachers have created the institution that so many parents and alumni cherish today.  We invite you to visit both campuses and meet the faculty and staff who serve our special community.  Witness our play-based preschool curriculum, and observe how the structure and expectations in classrooms from kindergarten through 8th grade form lifelong values and habits grounded in faith.

We offer both in-person and virtual tours as well as weekly virtual information sessions. During tours, parents may converse with teachers, administration, and current parents.  Find all our upcoming admissions events on our Open House page.

Whether you are looking for preschool (ages 2-5), early elementary (kindergarten-3rd grade), intermediate elementary (4th-5th grades), or middle school (6th-8th grades), our teachers are committed to educating and nurturing every soul within their classroom.  Small class sizes and a family-oriented atmosphere help us meet every student's academic, spiritual, and social-emotional needs.

Please call for more information - take a private tour; attend a coffee, Open House, or grade-level preview.  We invite your children to shadow a current SOSM student and experience the gift of Catholic education at the School of St. Mary.
