For thesafety of the children, cars cannot pass in the arrival or dismissal lines.
State law mandates that school parking lots are cellphone-free zones. This includes hands-free devices.
Respect the guidance of the faculty and stand as they direct traffic and your children.
Curbside drop-off drivers must remain in their vehicles.
Children must remain fastened in seatbelts until the car stops at the curb.
PGC Arrival Procedures
The doors will open at 8:30 a.m., and classes will start at 8:50 a.m. Students should remain in their cards until the doors open and staff are present.
Vehicles must enter the PGC parking lot through the entrance to St. Patrick Church on Everett Road and follow the parking lot around the church to the PGC lot. Please use this entrance and route as described so as not to block multiple entrances to St. Patrick Church.
Drivers should follow the north perimeter of the PGC parking lot and proceed to the curb in front of the PGC.
Staff along the curb will help direct both cars and students.
Parents of two and three-year-old students should proceed around the perimeter of the lot, turning right to park in the spaces on the southern boundary of the parking lot. Drivers must park, exit their vehicle with the student, and walk to the Early Childhood fence. They should enter the Early Childhood playground via the stepping stones.
Teachers will await their students at the playground doors of their classrooms to welcome them. Once your child has entered the classroom, parents should return to their vehicles and exit the parking lot by turning right and merging with the traffic from the curb.
Parents of four-year-old students may drop their child at the curb if the student is comfortable walking to the school's Early Childhood or south door.
Parents may also park their vehicles in the center parking spaces of the lot and escort their child to the south or Early Childhood door.
Once the child has entered the hallway to meet their teacher, the parent should return to their vehicle and exit the parking lot by turning right and merging with the traffic from the curb.
Kindergarten, first, second, and third graders should exit their car at the curb and enter the school through the north doors or gym wing. They will proceed directly to their respective classrooms.
Please walk in the designated crosswalk from the parking area to the building.
PGC Dismissal Procedures:
Vehicles must display a family identification number on the dashboard where it is easily visible (e.g., a bright-colored card with a letter and digits).
Please only use the card you were issued at the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year.
Any person picking up your child must be on your authorized list and have a carpool code. We can print extra codes in the office for grandparents, nannies, etc.
Vehicles must enter the PGC parking lot through the entrance to St. Patrick Church on Everett Road.
Traffic will process along the north perimeter of the PGC parking lot and proceed to the curb in front of the PGC.
A staff member will relay the family identification number of the vehicle to indoor supervisors.
Staff members will escort students to the curb to meet their car.
Please be patient while students enter their cars, anddo not pass cars in front of your vehicle.
Parents may pull to the buckle zone when their vehicle reaches the end of the curb and stop to assist children who cannot buckle themselves in car seats.
