The School of St. Mary integrates state-of-the-art technology into the curriculum. Starting with our littlest learners all the way through to our graduating eighth graders, using the latest available technology to further knowledge and understanding is a vital part of the learning experience.

The students and teachers utilize laptop computers at every grade level, interactive white boards, ceiling mounted projectors, document cameras, and full computer labs at both the Primary and Upper Grade Centers. Most of our academic textbooks are accessible online too.

Beginning in fourth grade, students may bring their own technology. There are very strict guidelines and a formal contract is signed as well.

At the Primary Grade Center, computers are available to students in each classroom. A computer lab with computers is available for whole-class instruction.  These computers run both productivity software used for creating student projects and co-curricular software for enhanced learning as well as providing Internet access.  Additionally, there are three Mobile Learning Labs available for student use.  Each lab houses 25 laptops, a laser printer, and a wireless access point enabling Internet use in the classroom.

At the Upper Grade Center, their are Mobile Learning Labs which can be rolled from classroom to classroom for student use.  As at the Primary Grade Center, these labs are equipped with state-of-art laptops, printers, and wireless access points to bring real-time, authentic learning to our students.

We also have very robust technology standards! Learn more

To provide the safest Internet experience possible, the computers at both the Primary Grade Center and the Upper Grade Center block and filter the Internet. These filters are customized to the specific requirements of the School of St. Mary and are updated regularly.

We are committed to offering our entire community the latest to communicate, investigate, and learn in the digital age.
